INVOLVEMENT!
Beta Mu takes pride in getting involved not only in our chapter but also on campus and in the community! We believe in supporting our well-rounded members in all they choose to do. Check out some of the outstanding programs our members take part in, and you can too.
ALLIE GRAY
GREEK AMBASSADOR
“When I joined Alpha Phi, I was inspired by all the girls around me who were involved with various clubs and organizations at UA. Throughout the year, I was presented with many opportunities and felt eager to seek after them. During my freshman year, I was selected to serve as a Greek Ambassador for the university. As a Greek Ambassador, I get to give tours of Alpha Phi and also have the privilege of helping prospective students who were just like me feel welcome and at ease about such a big decision. My time so far as a Greek Ambassador has allowed me to meet new people and have so many great experiences.”
JAYLEE HOWTON
UA CRIMSONETTE
“Here at Alabama, I have had the wonderful opportunity to be an Alabama Crimsonette. While being involved in Alpha Phi, I had the opportunity to showcase my talent. I am so grateful for the opportunity!”
AVERY SHAW
FASHION MERCHANDISING MAJOR WITH A CONCENTRATION IN APPAREL & DESIGN
“This past semester I had the amazing opportunity to attend Miami Swim Fashion Week! I got to help shoot content, fit the models, set up production and line the models up for the runway! Being able to gain experience through Fashion For Futures was awesome!! ”
KATERINE BIBB BRANYON
Culverhouse College of Business Senator
“Throughout my life I have always had a passion for leading and helping others. In high school I was the co-captain of my dance team for a year and also served on SGA for a year. When I joined Alpha Phi, I was really hoping to be able to pursue this passion, but I knew on a campus this big it would be hard. At the end of my freshman year, I was given the amazing opportunity to run for Senate and could not have done it without help from every single one of my sisters. They give me confidence and endless support that allows me to help others and pursue my passions. I am so excited to see all the progress we can make on this campus in the upcoming year, and am forever grateful for my Alpha Phi sisters who have supported me every step of the way!”
MARIN CURRY
HOMECOMING STUDENT EXECUTIVE BOARD
“I am so excited and honored that I got to serve on Alabama’s Homecoming Executive Board. I served as the Assistant Director of Community Service, and I’m so glad that I got to make a difference in the lives of others this year! Serving the University and Tuscaloosa community is a true honor and one of the most defining aspects of my college experience!“
