A LETTER FROM OUR NEW MEMBER TEAM

                                                                                                                                                                                                       Dear Potential New Member,

As you prepare to begin a new and exciting new chapter in your life, we want to welcome you on behalf of Alpha Phi. As the New Member Educator and Assistant New Member Educator, our role is to guide and support each of our new members in understanding what it truly means to be part of Alpha Phi.

Surrounding our four core ideals, sisterhood, innovation, generosity, and character, being a member of the Beta Mu chapter is so much more than what you might see on social media. It is about showing up for one another, holding each other accountable, and helping each sister grow into the best version of herself. It’s about being there in moments of doubt, uncertainty, even fear, and celebrating life’s joyful moments together. Being a sister means late-night hangouts at the Alpha Phi house, sharing laughs over dinner with your big or close friends before chapter, and always having someone to lean on. It’s a bond that extends far beyond our time here.

Our top priority is to ensure that you feel welcome and comfortable the moment you walk through our doors, during recruitment and every day after. We understand that recruitment can be a challenging and emotional experience, but know that Alpha Phi is made up of women from across the country, and we truly believe there's a place here for everyone.

We are so excited you have chosen to take part in primary recruitment. It can feel overwhelming at times, but if we can offer you one piece of advice, it is to trust the process and enjoy every moment of it.

With love,

Izzie Caruso and Diana Tran
